Sustainable ethically sourced casual style lovingly made from organic materials to dress up or for those lazy slouchy Sundays!
When Ruth from Urban Shore asked me to talk about her relatively new brand I jumped at the chance. As you know I am always keen to work with independent brands that I love especially if they are run by hardworking juggling mumma’s! Urban shore is a clothing and lifestyle brand whose designs originated from Ruth’s love of the outdoors and life by the ocean. Designs are vibrant with pops of neon colour, graphics Tees, slogan hoodies and sweatshirts as well as a great range of accessories. I have my eye on a bobble hat! The number one priority was always to source top quality products that are manufactured in safe and healthy work environments where social responsibility is key. Every Urban Shore product is ethically sourced and the majority are made from organic materials and some from 100% recycled materials
The sweatshirt and hoodie
We all love those slouchy days when we grab our tracksuit bottoms and hoodies. Now that Autumn is upon us its all about those country or beach walks and cosy slouchy nights in by the fire (or maybe that’s just me!) For a while now it has been ‘OK’ to wear activewear and dress it up or down. Here are a few looks via Pinterest that I love….
Urban Shore favourites:

I have worn this sweatshirt both with jeans, leather leggings and above with a pleated skirt and my ‘Star Trek” white boots. The fabric is super soft made from 100% combed cotton

Love this hoodie with a tailored long check coat, jeans, trainers or biker boots. Or if feeling motivated..the gym!

The Tee
Slogan and graphic tees have been around for a while now and are here to stay. Urban Shore offer both long and short Tee’s from their Urban and Shore ranges. The Urban apparel is clean and fresh with a metallic underground feel. The Shore designs are more vibrant with pops of neon and a beach vibe!

I struggle with what to buy Alice, at nearly 13 she has her own mind and is most definitely into easy casual fashion. She styled the beach hut long sleeve tee with her satin bomber which I actually love on her.

My trusty 4 year old leather joggers with this season’s red boots and the Urban bamboo tee and the white tee worn with a navy pin striped blazer

I am wearing the bamboo ‘kinda care, kinda don’t’ tee. Alice is wearing the ‘Anchored’ 100% organic cotton grey rolled tunic tee

I hope this little post has given you an insight into thinking slightly more about sustainable fashion and buying organic and ethically made products. I can honestly say that the clothes are both high quality, comfortable and timeless. Again for me it was lovely to be introduced to a new brand for my casualwear
