Seven Seas Perfect 7 Renewal – my thoughts

If you follow me on Instagram and  have read my previous blog post you will already know that since the end of August I have been involved in a campaign with Seven Seas Perfect 7 Renewal. This has meant me taking three little pills every day with the aim to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and generally improve the appearance of my skin. As I said in my previous blog it has been easy to maintain, just adding them to part of my daily routine. New Perfect7 Renewal Advanced is a UK first of its kind beauty supplement to contain Ceramosides, to help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles in 60 days. Ceramosides are a natural source of ceramides which are a vital component…

Seven Seas Perfect7 Renewal

Seven Seas Perfect7 Renewal

A couple of months ago I was invited to partner with  Seven Seas to trial the new `Perfect7 Renewal Advanced’ It was claimed that the products scientifically reduced the appearance of wrinkles in 60 days so of course I jumped at the chance! Anything to hold off the ageing process when you are in your forties is a winner with me. Of course with anything beauty related I am always sceptical. I find trying new products exciting but always remember that there are so many factors when it comes to keeping your skin looking beautiful. Does anything really help? Is it ever too late? Key factors that I am sure we are all aware of ….Firstly Hydration.. I certainly need to up my water… View Post

Suited and booted

Hello, how are we all? The sun is still shining here and I feel like I am on a bit of a blogging roll! Lots of exciting ideas coming up to share with you……Can I mention Autumn Fashion?? I normally ease into the new  season rather slowly. I think really because I am careful with what I buy nowadays and don’t want to peak too soon with the latest thing! A few days after returning from our holiday and still very much in Summer mode Alice and I had a mooch around London at the new AW18 offerings… One thing I have always loved wearing is a suit. Maybe from my days as a Headhunter in the City where especially during the 90’s suits were… View Post
Suns out, legs out!

Suns out, legs out!

You may have seen that on Sunday that we went along to the Love Supreme Festival at Glynde Place. Jamie loves Jazz and we try to go along every year if we can. We even went just as he started his chemotherapy three years ago, he is that dedicated! ..Love Supreme is over three days always at this time of the year. The atmosphere is fantastic and there is so much on offer for everyone. We did spend quite a bit of time in the Champagne and Oyster bus! A beautiful converted bus with tables upstairs that gives you an amazing view of the stage! Very handy…We always stay in Lewes at a lovely hotel called Pelham House but thousands of people camp… View Post
My summer edit with Great Plains

My summer edit with Great Plains

I was recently asked to put together my choices from the new SS18 collection at Great Plains What I really love about this 25 year old brand is the combination of both high quality pieces to create a capsule wardrobe and contemporary fashion influenced designs. I guess what I mean is that it is classic with a twist! With an International online presence they are continuing to grow from strength to strength. I have chosen pieces that I felt would work with clothes that I already have as well as adding something slightly different. The colour palette more often is muted but this season with added yellows and bright rust oranges.     Betsy Broderie Midi Dress   My first choice was this bright red/orange broderie… View Post
Something to get me back to the gym…….

Something to get me back to the gym…….

For years I have exercised at least three times a week. It became my routine while I was working in a stressful job to go either to a class or the gym before or after work. Over the years I have purchased and worn many different variations of gym and active wear so when I approached by a brand I had never heard of I was curious. I have to admit that I am that person that has absolutely no problem at all when it comes to wearing my gym wear out in public! I will happily stroll around Sainsburys looking at lettuce or meet a friend for coffee! To me it is now acceptable especially with such amazingly flattering styles out there for us… View Post

You only have to think about one thing!….

Hello! Happy sunny Friday!….My love of jumpsuits grows and grows so I thought I would quickly share a few that I have spotted on the High Street. I have really just looked at more casual jumpsuits. You know my love for trainers and I think we can all appreciate how great it is that there are so many dresses and jumpsuits that can be easily worn with a variety of sneakers! Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love heels and being rather vertically challenged I wear them a lot! It’s just the running about to London and mum duties when I need those comfy sneaks! For me the perfect jumpsuit is something that can be dressed up or down.  All you need to think about… View Post

One of our favourite places…

So I am finally sitting down with a glass of rose to write about our stay in Marrakesh. I remember last year I had intended to write about our trip but the school easter holidays always fall straight afterwards so its not as easy to find the time  to sit and write. I’m not trying to be a ‘Travel Blogger’ I will leave that to the experts but it is a place I love and I thought it might be nice to put a few thoughts on the blog. Jamie and I always try to get away for a few days on our own around my birthday at the end of March. We have managed to do this pretty much every year for… View Post
Pixi Beauty…My thoughts

Pixi Beauty…My thoughts

Back in February I was invited to an event held  at Fenwick hosted by Pixi Beauty’s Global Director of Make up Amanda Bell. I of course  had heard of Pixi but had never actually tried any of their skincare or make up. Pixi was set up 10 years ago by Petra Strand who has over 20 years experience as a make up artist and product developer. The brand is vegan friendly and is not tested on animals.. Pixi have two extensive ranges. Skintreats and the Make up range. I have been trying some key products from both. I am always really very careful with what I use on my skin. I had eczema as a child that will sometimes flare up and now that I am… View Post
