** This is a paid collaboration with Emily and Fin **
If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen that I have recently been working with a fun and slightly different brand Emily and Fin The brand were set up by two friends Emily and Ffion who initially sold their clothes at Portobello Market. Now designing with their team from their London studio Emily and Fin are an extremely distinctive British brand with Global stockists. When they asked me to choose my favourite pieces from their new Magical Circus Collection I was really excited as it is a new range of fun prints, jewel colours and luxurious textures. Cosy knits, wide leg trousers and fabulous wearable day dresses..
As you know I absolutely love a midi dress both during the summer where you may remember the floral Emily and Fin dresses I wore. They work now by styling them with chunky knits, boots and cosy coats for the Autumn. I had to choose the Susanna Blue Star Midi Dress The star print is fun and the flared sleeves and shape of the dress are really flattering. The fit is great and while I was bribing Alice to take my pictures I received so many lovely comments from the very chic French ladies at the Hoxton Hotel! Here are some of my other favourite dresses from the collection:
Ellen Long Sleeve Blue Flocked Spot Dress
My second outfit choice was this playful Navy Tiger Sweater With the on trend tiger motif it is a great addition to my wardrobe. Worn here with the Lori Navy Cord Culottes it forms the perfect silohuette. I have added my trusty navy heeled boots but obviously a blazer and jeans, trainers, leather skirt all can look equally as fabulous! Other similar favourites include:
I adore the autumnal colours in this coat along with the sweet shape of the collar. On trend checks that are easy to style in so many different ways for work or casually at the weekend
This pretty fitted blouse caught my eye recently at the Scoop Show in London. It’s vibrant pattern of autumn blooms on the navy background is beautiful and the fit again is lovely. Great for wide leg trousers as shown or leather trousers and heels for an evening look…
My final outfit choice included another great piece of knitwear from the collection the Cece Cream Sweater With a lurex star design it is both comfortable and high quality. I am wearing it with the Darcy Blue Star Culottes because sometimes if the colour palette works then a pattern clash is good! I think the culottes will work with a navy chunky knit, white fitted blouse or T-shirt and blazer in the warmer weather too.
Overall if you love wearing something fun and slightly more unique then you would love this collection. It offers you something more than ‘ordinary’
