Hello! Happy sunny Friday!….My love of jumpsuits grows and grows so I thought I would quickly share a few that I have spotted on the High Street. I have really just looked at more casual jumpsuits. You know my love for trainers and I think we can all appreciate how great it is that there are so many dresses and jumpsuits that can be easily worn with a variety of sneakers! Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love heels and being rather vertically challenged I wear them a lot! It’s just the running about to London and mum duties when I need those comfy sneaks!
For me the perfect jumpsuit is something that can be dressed up or down. All you need to think about are your shoes and bag and a few carefully considered accessories! I will save glitzy evening jumpsuits for another day although I do think some I have found could be worn with heels too…
How I wear mine… I have a few different jumpsuits but here are some that I have photographed!
This is an old jumpsuit from H&M I absolutely love it and it is a really flattering style. There are similar around now. Maybe more of an Anneka Rice (if you are old enough to remember her) boiler suit than a jumpsuit but I love the zip detail and black denim. I have actually dressed this up with heels in the evening too..
You will have seen a couple of times already if you follow me on Instagram. Here I wore black velvet platform sandals and above I am wearing my new Veja. Again a really great linen jumpsuit for transitioning into Spring/Summer
New season floral Finery London jumpsuit with frill sleeves
Charlies Angels vibe Rock the Jumpsuit
I had to include this one! Last year I was kindly sent this amazing jumpsuit. You know one of those items of clothing that instantly makes you look taller and more slim! I love the flared trousers and 70’s vibe!
A few of my favourites from the High St:
Florals are back again this season so I think everyone needs something in their wardrobe! This is quite similar to my Finery jumpsuit. I love the cut and again I would wear with heeled sandals or trainers. I think this particular style is flattering for all body shapes
Denim 70’s style at Mango. I am a huge fan of Mango this season and I think this is a really lovely style. Maybe not for those really hot days but I would wear with wedges or platform sandals in the evening too
A similar cut to both the Finery and Other Stories floral jumpsuits this one caught my eye in our local Whistles. It is really lightweight and would look amazing with slides or gold sandals in the summer
Hush will always produce amazing jumpsuits every season. I have chosen this flowing wide leg option mainly because of the gorgeous pastel pink. Perfect for both day and evening
Well I had to add something red! Mint Velvet have added so much colour to SS18. Our local store was always a very neutral palette so I am absolutely loving the bright colour pops. I love how this has been styled for the evening with gold sandals
Three really different but reasonably priced options from Next. On trend polkadots, another boilersuit more casual option and a flattering navy wrap style which is possibly better for the evening with heels
La Redoute casual thin denim style fabric, again great with those sneaks!
This orangey Urban Outfitters jumpsuit with buttons is another favourite. I saw this in store this week
Black off the shoulder fitted waist jumpsuit. Fabulous with sandals or stilettos!
Me and Em. Slightly more higher end price wise but one of my favourite brands. Both are actually matching tops and trousers worn together to look like a jumpsuit. I chose these because of versatility. Each piece is fab worn separately too!
More red at Boden. Flared cut trousers and perhaps more for the evening. I would also wear with trainers and a biker during the day too. Always high quality fabric and a gorgeous bright red!
Navy/grey linen with a cure tie back at Anthropologie. Definitely more daytime casual
Topshop polkadots and more of a slouchy casual option. I really love the slouchy style for running about during the day. Very tempted by this and again suits most body shapes
Well I hope this has given you some inspiration to possibly look at a jumpsuit as an addition to your summer wardrobe!
Thank you for reading and enjoy that sunshine!
Love
Jane
