ICON Outlet

Last week I visited ICON Outlet at The O2. Somewhere that I have to be honest I was completely unaware of and so very intrigued to find out more especially if it involved shopping!

As I am sure you know The O2 opened in 2007 and is the worlds most popular music and leisure venue. It hosts over 200 events a year and its hidden gem is the premium outlet  ICON. With over 60 brands offering up to 70% off retail prices including Nike, Adidas, Ted Baker, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and many more it is just 15 minutes from central London. It actually only took me 10 minutes on the Jubilee line from London Bridge station which was fantastic!

On arrival  ICON is situated on the left,  just next to where you enter for events.  You are greeted by the perfect festive flower wall for those perfect Instagram selfies and gold glitter stairs that take y0u up to the calm and welcoming shopping centre.

The shops are located on two floors. Currently decorated with large hanging baubles and gorgeous Christmas lights ICON offers a gift card vending machine for grabbing that perfect gift, a free Christmas wrapping service and free parking with a spend over £35.00  Open from 10am until 8pm Monday to Wednesday (inc) Late night shopping is Thursday until Saturday until 10pm and if you spend over £150 ICON can organise free delivery to your home. Very handy if you are shopping before a concert and really don’t need the hassle of shopping bags! Throughout the Christmas period ICON will have festive DJs, gospel choirs and children’s activities

I headed straight to Calvin Klein where I bought stocking fillers for the children, pyjamas for Jamie and of course the comfy pants he loves!! There is a good selection of brands for men. Hackett, Gant, Scotch and Soda and Levi’s. The stores are bright and airy and during the day not busy so a very welcome change from London’s Oxford Street at this time of year!

On to Tommy Hilfiger where I was really pleased with the huge selection there was on offer across both the mens and women’s collections. Along with the classics the store offers a great range of accessories and gift ideas. Being a mum of teenagers you can’t really go wrong with purchasing tracksuit bottoms and hoodies! The selection of parkas and Puffa coats was great too but we have a bit of a coat problem in our house…too many already!!

ICON is an outlet so you will find that some stores stock last season and possibly not the latest item that you may have seen online. Saying that I was really very impressed with everything that was available in each store and the prices were beyond amazing as you probably saw if you watched my Instagram stories

Osprey London have a lovely store. I always think that leather goods are a great gift idea so bought my mum a beautiful make up bag that was heavily reduced. They had a great selection of bags, purses, candles and wash bags. Again perfect for the lady that may have everything!

The Cosmetics Company store stocked a great range of brands including Mac, Bobbi Brown and Clinique. I bought  Clinique Happy perfume for a greatly reduced price along with a lipstick for £11.00 instead of £19.00 The staff were helpful and had great knowledge about each individual brand

I didn’t really have a plan when I went along. Not really knowing what was there I had in my mind who I would try to buy for with no self gifting allowed!! There is a great GAP store so I managed to grab a fabulous  sequinned sweatshirt for my niece and pyjamas for my nephew. If you follow me on Instagram you will probably know that I am huge sunglasses fan too. Sunglasses Hut have a great store again maybe not with the latest designs but brilliant classic designs by RayBan, Prada and other designers. Dune London, Ted Baker and Kurt Geiger were also on the top floor of the centre and are definitely worth a visit

After a quick stop for lunch I ventured downstairs. Adidas and Nike are next to each other and are really quite impressively large stores. Again lots of classic  tracksuits, trainers and gift ideas for the whole family

ICON offers a good choice and I think the most impressive thing is the pricing. The lighting and background music is relaxing and just these little things add to a really lovely shopping experience.

There are many reasons to visit The O2 and ICON is just one of them. The climbing experience, Cineworld, Hollywood Bowl, Oxygen Free jumping trampoline and over 30 bars and restaurants  really gives you a great day out for the family

I really enjoyed my day and found the whole experience lovely. Whether you are visiting The O2 for an event or concert, other O2 activity just because.. This little gem is worth knowing about and I will be back again very soon!

Thank you for reading

Love
