Summer loving …

Hello I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, it certainly makes these strange times easier doesn’t it Yesterday I was talking to a gorgeous resort wear brand about their new SS20 collection so I thought I would put a post together of a few of my favourite small brands that I have worn over the years. I really wanted to include jewellery because I think this is a big part of resort wear and certainly when I am away I stack up the bracelets! I will leave that for another time. If you follow me on Instagram you may be aware of most of these fab brands but I always think its great to document them on the blog too. All links will take…

** Some affiliate links have been used in this post ***     Hello, I hope everyone is well. I feel like I am slightly behind with all the things I had planned to do on the blog. Alice is back at school now and although I am still feeling a little wobbly with regard to Instagram I wanted to get my ideas down on paper .. well the internet! If you follow my stories you would have seen that I have been trying have a bit of a clear out of my dressing room and wardrobes that I seem to have taken over around the house. It is not easy for me mainly because I always think that I will love something again or… View Post

Take me to the beach!

••• This post is written in collaboration with Beach Cafe ••• •• Affiliate links have been used ••   It is the Easter holidays already? I actually can’t believe how quickly time is flying by this year. I am sure if you are on here reading this you aren’t currently away in an exotic location or zooming down the ski slopes but possibly trying to plan your days with the kids like me! Even now they are teenagers it is still a challenge.. As you probably know Jamie and I sneaked off for a few days for my birthday recently. Back to our beloved Marrakesh and a few days of relaxing, reconnecting and generally doing not much at all. It is a lovely time of… View Post
Suns out, legs out!

Suns out, legs out!

You may have seen that on Sunday that we went along to the Love Supreme Festival at Glynde Place. Jamie loves Jazz and we try to go along every year if we can. We even went just as he started his chemotherapy three years ago, he is that dedicated! ..Love Supreme is over three days always at this time of the year. The atmosphere is fantastic and there is so much on offer for everyone. We did spend quite a bit of time in the Champagne and Oyster bus! A beautiful converted bus with tables upstairs that gives you an amazing view of the stage! Very handy…We always stay in Lewes at a lovely hotel called Pelham House but thousands of people camp… View Post

One of our favourite places…

So I am finally sitting down with a glass of rose to write about our stay in Marrakesh. I remember last year I had intended to write about our trip but the school easter holidays always fall straight afterwards so its not as easy to find the time  to sit and write. I’m not trying to be a ‘Travel Blogger’ I will leave that to the experts but it is a place I love and I thought it might be nice to put a few thoughts on the blog. Jamie and I always try to get away for a few days on our own around my birthday at the end of March. We have managed to do this pretty much every year for… View Post
HANSINE…..dreaming of sunny days

HANSINE…..dreaming of sunny days

Back in December I was invited to afternoon tea and a preview of the new collection by Hansine at the Dover Street Townhouse in Soho. Dresses and cake what more could I possibly want?!!… I guess it did actually feel quite odd looking at resort wear when it was freezing outside but as you know I am a summer girl at heart and resortwear is my absolute favourite thing. I’m not sure why but I always seem to have so many more summer clothes and love to invest in key pieces that I bring out every holiday. As half term is coming up (far too quickly for my liking) I thought it was a good time to let you know about this fabulous… View Post
