  Hello.. This week I thought I would talk about a few really simple things that are making me happy during this crazy time. As you probably know we built our house about 6 years ago and had recently decided to look for our next big project. I started saving ideas and pictures into ‘House Files” and was getting really excited to take on the Project Manager role again! I do love a hard hat!! Like so many things this is currently on hold so we have been looking to change a few things around the house. A slightly more personal post today but something I guess I really wanted to share. A couple of weeks ago I was approached by the Editor of a Regional newspaper  The Times and So Magazines. I was asked if I would be involved in their relaunch issue where they were to feature various local bloggers and businesses. My first thought was wow, why me? There are other local people going great guns on Instagram and my blog has only really been live for a year. I then thought about some of the negativity I had received a while back from local people and it made it all the more scary. Why would I put myself out there? Hello! Happy New Year! My first blog post of the year… I have lots of ideas and am currently working on a Travel post after our recent trip to Thailand. I had such a lovely response after I did a write up on Marrakesh I will now make it a regular thing. I think the hardest thing for me are the photograph’s. Suns out, legs out!

    You may have seen that on Sunday that we went along to the Love Supreme Festival at Glynde Place. Jamie loves Jazz and we try to go along every year if we can. We even went just as he started his chemotherapy three years ago, he is that dedicated! ..Love Supreme is over three days always at this time of the year. The atmosphere is fantastic and there is so much on offer for everyone. We did spend quite a bit of time in the Champagne and Oyster bus! A beautiful converted bus with tables upstairs that gives you an amazing view of the stage! My summer edit with Great Plains

I was recently asked to put together my choices from the new SS18 collection at Great Plains What I really love about this 25 year old brand is the combination of both high quality pieces to create a capsule wardrobe and contemporary fashion influenced designs. I guess what I mean is that it is classic with a twist! With an International online presence they are continuing to grow from strength to strength. I have chosen pieces that I felt would work with clothes that I already have as well as adding something slightly different.
