  Hello.. This week I thought I would talk about a few really simple things that are making me happy during this crazy time. As you probably know we built our house about 6 years ago and had recently decided to look for our next big project. I started saving ideas and pictures into ‘House Files” and was getting really excited to take on the Project Manager role again! I do love a hard hat!! A slightly more personal post today but something I guess I really wanted to share. A couple of weeks ago I was approached by the Editor of a Regional newspaper  The Times and So Magazines. I was asked if I would be involved in their relaunch issue where they were to feature various local bloggers and businesses. My first thought was wow, why me? There are other local people going great guns on Instagram and my blog has only really been live for a year. Hello, how are we all? The sun is still shining here and I feel like I am on a bit of a blogging roll! Lots of exciting ideas coming up to share with you……Can I mention Autumn Fashion?? Suns out, legs out!

    You may have seen that on Sunday that we went along to the Love Supreme Festival at Glynde Place. Jamie loves Jazz and we try to go along every year if we can. We even went just as he started his chemotherapy three years ago, he is that dedicated! ..Love Supreme is over three days always at this time of the year. The atmosphere is fantastic and there is so much on offer for everyone. We did spend quite a bit of time in the Champagne and Oyster bus! A beautiful converted bus with tables upstairs that gives you an amazing view of the stage! Something to get me back to the gym…….

For years I have exercised at least three times a week. It became my routine while I was working in a stressful job to go either to a class or the gym before or after work. Over the years I have purchased and worn many different variations of gym and active wear so when I approached by a brand I had never heard of I was curious. I have to admit that I am that person that has absolutely no problem at all when it comes to wearing my gym wear out in public! I will happily stroll around Sainsburys looking at lettuce or meet a friend for coffee! To me it is now acceptable especially with such amazingly flattering styles out there for us… View Post

My love for red and pink……

As you can probably tell by my Instagram feed recently I am having a ‘red and pink’ moment. Like with many things I am sure I will get bored and move onto some other craze but in the meantime my love continues. It is  an odd one because people say that to wear bold colours together or an outfit of all one colour you need to be very self confident. I am actually far from confident but as soon as I reached the ripe old age of forty decided that I will wear what I love.
